Researcher Description

Jakub Krzemiński during his research career gained significant experience in multinational cooperation through work at European institutes and universities, such as Technischen Universitat Dresden or Otto von Guericke Universität Magdeburg. International cooperation during numerous European projects, like Emerging Printed Electronics Research Infrastructure EMERGE (H2020-INFRAJA 2018-2020), gives him the opportunity to enhance his abilities in international group management and worldwide cooperation.

He has extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of printed electronics methods, mainly related to microprinting and manufacturing of dedicated printing inks. Currently, he focuses on the biomedical application of micro printing, like printed MEA (microelectrodes array) for brain stimulation, printed electronic tattoos, and printed actuators. Other research areas include printed transistors and printing on 3D-shaped substrates.

He has participated in 11 scientific projects. This includes industry projects and implementation of research results, such as:
• GRAFINKS project (NCBIR),
• Development of technology for manufacturing of functional materials for application in non-silicon photovoltaic cells (NCBiR),
• Functional SSL project in Masterpress S.A.'s innovative proprietary technology,
• Functional heterophase materials for structural electronics (Polish Science Found),
• Pastes based on silver nanoparticles for electronics and power electronics DEMONSTRATOR + (NCBiR)

He is also a co-founder of Novelinks Ltd. a spin-off from the Warsaw University of Technology. The company deals with the development of dedicated, tailored materials for printed electronic techniques.
