Researcher Description

As part of his doctoral thesis, Katarzyna Wójkowska is working on the development of a technology for producing stretchable sensory structures on textile substrates for use in muscle electrostimulation. He is developing composite pastes for screen printing that will meet the advanced requirements of textronics - resistance to washing, drying and everyday use, increased mechanical strength, adaptation to the complex curves of the human body and appropriate electrical parameters.
The research covers such issues as: screen printing technology, thermal transfer, indirect printing on textile substrates, mechanical testing, and the regenerative capabilities of conductive layers on textiles after washing.
