Researcher Description

Łukasz Nowicki is a young researcher focusing on the application of different allotropic carbon varieties in modern electronics especially flexible and printed electronics. Currently, as part of his PhD thesis, Lukasz is working on achieving chirality control of carbon nanotubes to produce highly conductive but ultralight conductors. He specialises in FC-CVD technology, which he uses to synthesize carbon nanotubes.

In addition, Lukasz is also familiar with screen printing. He has experience in preparing the pastes used in this technology. Lukasz is also skilled in making carbon-polymer nanocomposites and using them to produce flexible and conductive fibres.

His fascination with nanomaterials and the potential to use them for conductors, textronics or printing onto various flexible substrates such as paper or films led him to expand his knowledge and skills in this area.
